Cory Does Gooder
Meet Cory Redwine, a native Floridian whose love for the coast extends far beyond the typical sun, sand, and surf. Cory’s connection to Florida’s beaches and waterways fuels her multifaceted roles as a community leader, mother, partner, artist, activist, angler, and outdoorswoman. The Making of a Guardian
Born and raised on the vibrant Space Coast of Florida, Cory’s life is intertwined with the ocean’s rhythm. Her passions are as diverse as the ecosystems she vows to protect — ranging from fishing and paddleboarding to creating art and leading conservation initiatives. As an accomplished artist, Cory turns the endless tide of oceanic litter into a powerful statement against plastic pollution, crafting stunning artworks from the debris she collects.
Cory's Conservation Efforts and Artistry
Cory’s role as Conservation Director at Star brite and a field tech at UF – Whitley Lab under Dr. Todd Osbourne are just the tip of the iceberg. She collaborates with conservation groups, focusing significantly on clam restoration with Blair Wiggins IRL and spearheading her own 501(c)(3) organization, SeaRedwine Preservation. Here, she is hands-on, growing and planting mangroves, and leading various ecological restoration projects. Her free time is spent walking the beaches and rivers, transforming the litter she collects into art, advocating for the environment through her unique artistic lens.

Cory’s dedication extends to her family and community, where she actively participates in educational outreach, teaching both children and adults the importance of conservation and sustainable practices.
